Here in the US our power systems are normally based on 208/120V power distribution to IT equipment.  So why and how can we use 400/240 V power in our racks ?

In the US we use traditional 208/120V power distribution. By transforming our standard US 480V power to "Euro" 400/240v power at the PDU we can feed 240V to virtually any modern IT equipment, since they all have universal power supplies that can operate at 100-250V. Moreover, most new server power supplies operate more efficiently at 240 Volts! (up to 20 % more efficiently).

Rack power modules, whips  (in single and  3 phase)  provides up to 11.5 KW per each rack PDU  - all just plug-in & deploy as needed.
 

Ideal for Bladeservers - Supports 46 KW per rack (23KW with 2N Redundancy)
